A Brand Born from First Steps
Hi, I’m Michael Lawrence—father, designer and the heart behind PreWalkings.
When my daughter took her first wobbly steps, I realized how hard it was to find shoes that were truly soft, safe, and thoughtfully made for growing feet. Everything either looked great but fit poorly or offered comfort without care for style. That’s when PreWalkings began.
With a background in footwear design and a newfound parent’s perspective, I set out to create shoes that support tiny adventures—shoes that are gentle, durable, and adorable. Every pair is made with love, because I know firsthand how meaningful those first steps are.
